Parkland seeks an organized, proactive candidate with excellent oral and written skills to help execute and manage communications duties that promote the visibility and positive image of Parkland, its mission and work in the community.
This position requires strong writing and editing skills and solid understanding of how messaging and content support branding and public relations goals.
Duties include producing communications content and materials, interviewing subject matter experts, writing, photography and management of projects that may include but are not limited to web stories, publications, collateral, presentations, newsletters, etc. Serves as an editor for department. This position does not include media relations as part of daily activities, but may be asked to assist occasionally. Ability to multi-task and manage several projects in a complex environment is a must. Excellent customer service skills required.
