Senior Account Executives are leaders on Sunwest’s account teams. This position nurtures existing and assists in fostering new client relationships; daily client management.  The successful candidate may be involved in the management of Sunwest’s social media accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Liaise with client(s) on a daily basis keeping an open line of communication and timely correspondence:
    • Content creation, i.e. draft, edit, review, distribute, press and marketing materials on behalf of client(s)
    • Develop and maintain media and social influencer list(s)
    • Develop and maintain open communications with media and influencers
    • Proactively pitch media, handle media and influencer inquiries, secure interviews and provide prep materials for clients
    • Create and maintain events/awards/speaking engagement calendars for clients
    • Create and/or provide feedback on project recommendations and timelines
    • Track and generate media and influencer reports, clip reports
    • Prepare account service-related documents such as meeting agendas and meeting reports
    • Participate in and document discussions during client meetings and conference calls
  • Manage Sunwest’s social media profiles, including creating daily posts and active engagement with followers.

EDUCATION
Sunwest Senior Account Executives will hold a degree in public relations, marketing, communications or journalism and 3-5 years of relevant work experience, agency or corporate. Communications expertise, professional presence, outstanding time management skills, and a passion for public relations and social media storytelling are essential to succeed in this position.
