Description

Responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to-day client contact and account maintenance
  • Understand key client information including business strategy, products and services, key customers and competitors
  • Possess excellent writing skills for material development (following AP style), including press releases, pitch letters, invitations, product fact sheets and presentations
  • Provide client service administration including preparing client status and activity reports, actively participating in meetings and calls, compiling reports, scheduling, and logistics
  • Conduct high-level media relations and develop/guide public relations strategies including media relations to all channels, both national and local – including, but not limited to, business, healthcare, lifestyle, consumer and community
  • Research, outline, write, edit and proofread materials, specifically content calendars for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Ability to execute against multiple projects, including launch events, vendor management, and research
  • Assist with research including analysis of online conversations
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and project management skills
  • Strong knowledge, use, and understanding of social media practices

 

Requirements

  • Demonstrate strong media relations capabilities and ability to consistently secure placements
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the social media industry and basic principles of community engagement
  • Excellent oral and written business communication skills
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement of your tactical skills and seek training, including on-the-job training and mentoring
  • Ability to complete challenging projects within set parameters

Operational Leadership

  • Record and submit time and expenses daily to the right project codes
  • Understand account budget parameters and over-servicing
  • Provide administrative budgeting support for team
  • Understand and facilitate processes of working with vendors; initiate and track vendor billing accurately
  • Prepare monthly client account summaries and measurement reports
  • Learn about TPC various capabilities and contribute ideas when appropriate about how to improve them and develop new capabilities
  • Aid in the implementation of new capabilities
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 - 5 years related professional experience
