Responsibilities for this position are listed below and will include working with the management team and being directly responsible for the management of promotions, direct marketing to customers, social media content and execution and vendor management related to paid media and the overall marketing mix.

  • Participate and drive strategic planning including establishing an annual marketing plan and budget, as well as quarterly timelines with priority activities
  • Plan and coordinate store promotional calendars, scheduling sale events and coordinating vendor promotions
  • Oversee digital advertising media plan and work with vendors to track and report results to company management
  • Manage and execute direct marketing to customers by pulling insights from CRM system and leveraging Constant Contact push tool to distribute campaigns and customer communication
  • Maintain customer database and segmentation for direct marketing projects
  • Assist CEO in negotiating all media buys in print, broadcast and digital
  • Coordinate the creation and production of sales and marketing materials
  • Maintain image library and archive of all digital assets (photography, video, ads, campaign artwork, etc.)
  • Analyze marketing programs and adjust strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness to support sales goals
  • Plan and oversee execution of promotional activities including print, digital media, direct mail, point-of-purchase displays, and in-store signage
  • Help support Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities including giving and employee volunteer strategies that connect with our brand, our communities and our values

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related area
  • 3-5 years previous marketing experience in areas such as brand-building, advertising, promotions, direct marketing and sales support
  • Some retail and/or furniture experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communications skills
  • Beginner level knowledge of Adobe Creative suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Lightroom
