Salary:     Dependent on Experience

Work Hours:     8:00 A.M. thru 4:30 P.M., Monday thru Friday

General Job Duties:     Create and execute an overall fund development strategy plan to meet agency’s needs and those of the credentialing and/or NTI programs.  Build and manage relationships with prospects and donors; identify opportunities with foundations and corporations for major gifts and sponsorships; document new actions and proposals, write corporate solicitations for funding, and conduct ongoing stewardship activities to further enhance the relationships between donors and Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth, staff and volunteers.  Work with Vice President of Community Engagement to ensure effective support, fund development resources, and community donors’ engagement and cultivation; create and oversee annual plan for fund development and sponsorship programs, and the marketing of events and activities of the department focusing on methodical development of donor relations and recognition.  Work with Vice President of Workforce Development and Compliance Manager to submit government, foundation and other grant opportunities based on criteria of available resources and strategic alignment with Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth goals.

Special Requirements:     Bachelor Degree, and/or CFRE/AFP Certifications preferred, but not required.   A minimum of three (3) years of experience in fundraising at a major gift level, preferably in a non-profit environment, with sales, marketing or related profession required.  Polished and personable professional, with dynamic, motivational and engaging communication skills, able to address and relate to diverse groups; strong writing capability.  Dedicated, self-driven, and organized, with MS Office Apps proficiency, and working knowledge of Clarity-Soft, or similar software required.  Travel required for outreach activities and to meet potential donors.  Must possess reliable transportation.

Legal Requirements:     Valid State Driver’s License/ID, background check, and drug screen.
