The Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association (EMRA) is a non-profit association serving more than 16,000 emergency medicine physicians in training and is managed by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP).

We need a dedicated professional to help produce multiple EMRA publications in cooperation with internal teams, freelance professionals, print/electronic vendors, and association members. You will also help maintain online content (including posting to the EMRA website) and plan new publications. Additionally, all staff assist the EMRA Executive Director and other EMRA staff in all phases of EMRA management – including supporting EMRA committees, events, and campaigns.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field
  • Three years’ related experience working with writers, graphic designers, freelance personnel, and printers; experience with digital publications and mobile apps; and familiarity with a variety of software programs such as desktop publishing, graphics programs, and databases
  • Must be able to work occasional nights and weekends
  • Ability to travel as required. Anticipate 3 business trips per year from 2-8 days’ duration
