Join us for a special program at Colonial Country Club on Friday, April 9* as we hear from the next generation of public relations counselors. Students from our sponsor universities—Abilene Christian University (ACU), Texas Christian University (TCU) and the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA)—will attend as part of our chapter's annual Pro-Am Day.

Representatives from ACU will present the use of new Apple iPad technology for student publications. TCU and UTA will both present the results of their work for PRSA's Bateman Competition and the United States Census. We hope you'll be there to help advance public relations education.

As a second note, we still need volunteers for the student resume critique session from 11-11:30 a.m. Please e-mail Carroll Burney (cburney@girlsinctarrant.org) if you can help. Pro-Am Day activities for students start at 10 a.m. Carolyn Bobo, APR, Fellow PRSA, will share interview tips and tricks, and at 11 a.m. PRSA members will critique student resumes and portfolios.
