Huckabee is seeking a Marketing Coordinator / Proposal Writer with a passion for writing to join our marketing team. Our ideal candidate must have exceptional written and verbal skills, a minimum of five years applicable experience in marketing, business development or a creative design environment.


• Compose and edit materials for marketing proposal packages and interview presentations for new business pursuits to meet urgent and pressing deadlines
• Manage the proposal development process:
- Evaluate requirements
- Gather content from subject matter experts and team members
- Formulate clear and compelling responses
- Translate content and client needs into effective messaging
• Manage database of marketing material content, including current project descriptions, photography, resumes and narratives
• Perform advanced document formatting and publication design consistent with brand standards and guidelines
• Create and maintain database of best-in-class proposals and responses
• May also assist in composing articles, white papers, social media messaging, project descriptions and other written content as assigned


• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, mass media, English or related field preferred
• Must be highly organized and able to maintain working files
• Strong organizational skills; detail/formatting precision and accuracy required
• Flexibility in a small team environment with changing priorities and guidance
• Manage multiple, simultaneous projects and prioritize workload
• Demonstrated ability to balance short-term deadline-oriented assignments and long-term ongoing projects
• Expert level skills in MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
